As many of you may already know, the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) started today. Although there are hundreds of things that may grab your attention, this 150-inch tv made by Panasonic has been the show.
With its size of 11 ft by 6 1/4 ft and 8.84 million pixels of resolution making up 150 inches, other brands did not indicate their tv dimensions to prevent comparison with this huge tv. The picture above may show a short lady, but it is actually a comparison between last year’s largest, 103-inch plasma
The competition amongst many brands out there are becoming stronger daily, and it only surprises the consumers. Firstly, the thickness plays a great role. Many displays are ranging from its thickness of 1.7 inch to even 0.35 made by Pioneer. Another competitive factor is OLED, which top brands such as Sony and Samsung have been developing impressively. Although they do not plan to market them yet, Sony will sell 11-inch OLED in United States for $2500.
Not only these may sound interesting, there’s also something called Wireless HD, which we’ll be able to replace HDMI cables with wireless connections. How sweet!
As of now, you can’t buy these yet, but you can always order the 100 inch one if you’ve got the cash =p

Well why yes, this tv got my attention right away as well.
I would love to buy this tv as well, however it is unavailable for sale as far as I know because it’s only been made for the showcase in the CES. If you read the article in the link provided in the edited post, you’ll see that they had to use a single airplane alone to bring this humongous tv from Japan. As I’ve said before, these kinds of TVs will not be on sale, and even if it were to be sold, it would cost tremendously. So I cannot answer your question regarding assembly and further detailed pictures. I’m sorry for being vague about some information, but thanks for your constructive suggestions, greatly appreciated! -Dan |

i see. in your next update, please tell us what the Consumer Electronics Show is. including: when it is held this is what i’m curious to learn. why would they make such beautiful TVs and let people see them if they will never be able to buy them. i mean, i know not a lot of people will buy this TV due to the price, but they sure will want it. so they shouldn’t make so many. they should just make a few like 10 so people who want to and are rich enough to buy it can. |

Yes, you’re right about those things, and you’re helping me out greatly.
I’ll have separate post about the Consumer Electronics Show in a moment. I would like that tv too! |
this post is very interested! the picture that u put to show the TV is very nice… it captured my eye.
i would certainly love to buy this TV, but there are many questions in my mind that are unanswered in this update. for example:
1. is this TV High-Definition?
2. does it come unassembled? if not, how will people take it in their house?
3. you should put more pictures of the TV (side views, ariel views, back views, etc).
furthurmore, you should provide a link to go to for more information and the source where you found out about this.
if you can pull this off, then i will definitely come again.
