Test Web Sites in Different Web Browsers

For many webmasters out there, one of the major problem is the Web Browser Compatibility. You have your material, you’ve got it up running on one, great, but you can’t forget about other browsers

As I’ve been making layout changes on mymyTech myself, I’ve faced many issues in trying to make everything look the way I wanted for EVERY web browsers out there.

Most people with the latest updates won’t be able to check with older browsers, so what do we do? We can use BrowserShots.org !

Long story short, it’ll take high-res screen shots of your site on your desired web browsers ranging from Ubuntu to MacOS. (Example for this site can be shown here) So you can now see how your site shows up on multiple browsers without much trouble.

What is Browsershots?

Browsershots makes screenshots of your web design in different browsers. It is a free open-source online service created by Johann C. Rocholl. When you submit your web address, it will be added to the job queue. A number of distributed computers will open your website in their browser. Then they will make screenshots and upload them to the central server here.

Only a bit of downside may be the waiting time, as the demand gets higher, it may take longer, but waiting time is well worth it.

The screenshots will remain on their server long enough so that you can check back later if needed. Browsershots.org rocks!
