When your computer is connected to internet, it constantly sends/receives info packets.
DNS, Domain Name System, is used so that you won’t have to input information each time you browse through sites.
Although Windows XP does a fairly decent job with DNS Cache, we can tweak the registry so that it would perform to its maximum potential.
You can either follow these steps to make the registry file on your own or simply download the file that I’ve made.
Making “dnscache.reg” File

DumbBoy, it all depends on you.
It’s fine to believe that changing these things may cause problems, but registry tweaks are well known to make changes that help. A regular user shouldn’t mess with it? That’s why I’ve uploaded the registry file so that one can do this with ease. It doesn’t hurt to try ya know =p |
i don’t trust this. it’s best to keep things the way they are or esle any changes will come bak to harm u in the future. if ur computer is working fine, a regular user shouldn’t mess with it. only advanced users or computer enthusiats should.
