Entrecard is one of the popular tool that many webmasters use to advertise and socialize upon their sites.
Basically, the more you drop, the more credits you’ll get to advertise. So we all know that the daily limit’s 300, but do we really want to click each individual sites to drop? Not really.
There are many Entrecard Browsers out there, but I believe that this method would be more efficient.
I’ve compiled a script to allow random Entrecard members’ sites to open, so that you can drop as fast as possible.
To get to the point, here’s my suggestion to get through this fast:
Tip: I’ve purposely made site opening hotkey to be “Start+w” so that you only have to move your thumb in opening/closing sites.
It will first open up mymyTech, so please help me out with drops as well =)

Matt Hanson, thanks a lot.
I usually try to write about something that is interesting and useful daily but not having enough visitors put me down. But I won’t give up… |

Gerri, Start key would be the Windows Logo Button in between Ctrl and Alt. (Only for Windows I just realized)
Please feel free to ask more. |

Excellent tool! I love it. Will it need to be updated though, given the ever changing Entrecard landscape? |
|
|
Gerri, I’m glad that you found it useful.
I’m not quite sure what you mean by Entrecard landscape. Please elaborate upon that. But if i can, sure |

I mean sites come and go from the Entrecard system. Some are 404s, others have been deleted or have just removed the Entrecard widget. Also there are new sites coming on every day, so I guess what I was asking was if the program will keep up with these changes? |
|
|
Gerri, ah, I see what you mean.
Yes, I’ll be able to update upon Entrecard’s continuous growth. But the one you have should cover 4000 sites that still exist. However, I am not able to control over the factor of “No Widget”, since the the script won’t be able to perform such scan. |

—- application launches a trojan, not sure if anyone was aware of this, I would either use this on a crap machine or just stay away from it. |
|
|
asfd, hmm, no way…
Would you mind telling me which program picked it up as a trojan? Please let me know as I would never do such thing to our community p.s - Kaspersky’s fine with it… |
|

The program: CPsecure found: Troj.Spy.W32.Agent.bdw To scan it I used a Web Scanner that is extremely trust worthy and hasn’t failed me yet. (http://virusscan.jotti.org/) Now the thing that confuses me is that, It simply mentions Malicious Malware. All other major scanners didnt pick it up. Yet this one did. I notice Troj. there which makes me wonder if its a trojan, yet again it would have said something otherwise in the description of the scan. Now I didn’t say you would harm your community, I came as a messenger to inform others of whats in the application. Also taking notice that you even bothered to approve the comment makes me think it’s a clean file. Cheers |
|
|
asdf, thank you for your understanding.
Yes I’ve approved your comment because i’m sincerely honest that the file is clean. I have no idea why it’s picking it up like that but like I said it’s only a compilation of commands. Take care |

I just wanted to add that I too got a trojan warning. I use NOD32 which has never given me a false positive before. It seems like a great program but both times I attempted to use it my virus program shut everything down quickly. |
|
|
The Aging Disco Diva, I used to use Nod32, but won’t be able to test it myself since I now use Kaspersky…
Whether it may sound harmful or not, thanks for notifying us about it. Although I can put my life on border that I haven’t done anything to make it malicious, I believe that anti-virus are being too sensitive to pick up its coding with start button to be harmful. I, as a writer of mymyTech, promise that the file is 100% clean. Please understand that those trojan warnings are picked up by scanning of codes and I guess it’s being a little picky. But ask those who have used this already, I’m sure they won’t have any problems with it. Thanks~ |
I found your site on technorati and read a few of your other posts. Keep up the good work. I just added your RSS feed to my Google News Reader. Looking forward to reading more from you.
